WHO WE ARE: The MDNA Austin D. Lucas Scholarship Fund awards grants for college tuition to children whose parents are employed by MDNA member firms. The Fund is a non-profit tax-exempt corporation recognized as a charity by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Contributions to the Fund are fully tax-deductible to the full amount allowed by law. The Funds are managed by the Trustees, consisting of members of the Board of Directors of the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA). Since the inception of the fund in 1983, 1,490 students have received scholarships totaling over $2,038,500. |

The Trustees of the Austin D. Lucas Scholarship Fund are proud to announce the scholarship recipients for the 2023-2024 academic year. These exceptional students have shown their determination to pursue their education in these difficult times. They have demonstrated their ability to balance part time jobs, community service and extracurricular activities with their academic schedules. Your contributions to the Austin D. Lucas Scholarship Fund have helped to ease the Financial burdens of a college education for these students. Each student has directly benefited from your contributions. We appreciate your continued support, which has made this program something we can all be proud of. HOW TO APPLY AND WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Grants are awarded annually to students entering college, vocational or graduate school. Multiple scholarships are awarded up to $5000. Application forms are available from MDNA headquarters each February. The forms can also be accessed at the MDNA website at www.mdna.org or click here to download forms. Awards are distributed at the end of the summer for the fall semester. Students may apply each year of their college careers.

The essay questions allow applicants to express their goals for a college or vocational education. Not every student who applies receives an award. ESTABLISH YOUR OWN TRUST
MDNA members are invited to establish a Trust of their own. Trusts can be established in your name, your company name, or in honor of an individual you hold in high esteem. This is a lasting testament that will continue giving each year.
Each time you donate to the Fund, your contributions are totaled. When your contributions have reached the goal of $5,000, your Trust is established.
Each year thereafter a student will receive a scholarship in your Trust's name.
